Plans for Lendlease’s 30-storey residential and retail development at Sydney’s Barangaroo has received the green light from New South Wales Independent Planning Commission.
The final tower is part of a set of three, and shortest, designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano.
The approval comes after Lendlease lodged a state significant development application in August for its $146 million tower on the 1750sq m site, near Crown’s Sydney hotel and casino and the Hickson Road and Watermans Quay intersection.
City of Sydney had objected to the 103.5 metre tower which resulted in the Department of Planning providing an application to the state’s IPC.
